There is movement in the team recruiting rankings after the release of the updated Top247.

The final Top247 recruiting rankings for the 2024 class were released by 247Sports Monday afternoon with one last update for the cycle. While there were no major movements, slight adjustments as well as recent commitments since the early signing period in December resulted in changes to the team rankings. Georgia already secured the No. 1 class last month, according to the 247Sports Composite. It is the Bulldogs' first top-ranked signing haul since 2020.
The future of the "Power Two" conferences continues to take shape with the Big Ten and SEC owning20 of the top-25 signing classes for the 2024 cycle. Clemson, Florida State, Miami, Notre Dame and Texas Tech make up the list of others.
There are a handful of programs that moved up the recruiting team rankings since December with LSUimproving its position by multiple spots after landing five-star defensive lineman Dominick McKinley. Florida State is among the group of biggest fallers with its late de-commitments in December.

Nebraska pulled off a stunner just days before the early signing periodback in December by flipping five-star quarterback Dylan Raiola away from Georgia. The addition of the top-ranked quarterback in the classhelped boost the Huskers into the top-20 nationally for the 2024 cycle. Nebraska has seven other blue-chip recruits locked in, including four-star tight end Carter Nelson, the top-ranked in-state recruit.
17. USC

USC does not have any five-star signees or commits in the 2024 recruiting class after adding four in the previous two cycles. The Trojans put a focus on improving the defense for the future withsix of its10 blue-chip signees projecting to contribute on that side of the ball. USC enters a new era ahead of its move to the Big Ten and owns the fifth-best recruiting class in the league for the 2024 cycle.
16. MICHIGAN

Three-consecutive Big Ten titles and a national championship was not enough to give Michigan a top-10 recruiting class in the 2024 cycle. Still, the Wolverines loaded up on blue-chip talent with 18 four-star signees already enrolled. Quarterback Jadyn Davis headlines the class for Michigan as one of the top passers in the nation. The five highest-rated additions all project to contribute on the offensive side of the ball.
15. FLORIDA

Florida appeared to be locked in for a top-10 recruiting class less than a month out from the early signing period in December, but on-field struggles left the Gators open for poaching with eight decommitments since the beginning of November. Florida finished 2023 5-7 but was able to hang on to a pair of five-stars in quarterback DJ Lagway and defensive lineman LJ McCray, salvaging a top-20 class as the late signing period approaches.
14. PENN STATE

Penn State cleaned up most of the high-end, in-state talent in the 2024 recruiting class with three of the top four prospects already enrolled in Happy Valley. That group includes running back Quinton Martin and interior offensive lineman Cooper Cousins, who rank among the best at their respective positions this cycle. This is the 10th-consecutive top-25 recruiting class for the Nittany Lions under James Franklin.
13. TENNESSEE

Tennessee is already making big moves in the 2025 recruiting class as it looks to build off its impressive haul from the 2024 cycle. The Volunteers signed a pair of five-star recruits in wide receiver Mike Matthews and edge rusher Jordan Ross. The overall class size is small for Tennessee, but pound-for-pound is among the best in the nation.
12. CLEMSON

Clemson continues to shy away from the transfer portal, which means the focus for Dabo Swinney remains on high school recruiting.The Tigers signed one of the top classes in the ACCwith a pair of five-stars in linebacker Sammy Brown and wide receiver Bryant Wesco highlighting the haul for the 2024 cycle.Talent development is still the plan of attack for Swinney as he enters 2024 at Clemson.
11. FLORIDA STATE

Florida State was well inside the top 10 nationally with its 2024 recruiting class during the early signing period, but two late flips caused the Seminoles to subsequently slide in the rankings. Coveted safety KJ Bolden(Georgia) was a massive loss for Florida State as the only five-star commit in the class. Mike Norvell and his staff in Tallahassee are clinging onto a top-10 high school recruiting class as the February signing period nears.
10. NOTRE DAME

Marcus Freeman has another top-15 recruiting class locked in at Notre Dame in the 2024 cycle. Coming off back-to-back 10-win seasons, the Fighting Irish continue to build momentum with hopes of getting back in the national championship picture. Touted quarterbackCJ Carr, the grandson of former Michigan head coach Lloyd Carr, expects to be the future at Notre Dame. Wideout Cam Williams provides the Fighting Irish with a much-needed weapon on the outside, too.
9. OKLAHOMA

Brent Venables delivered on a strong recruiting class ahead of the move to the SEC for Oklahoma in 2024. The Sooners signed 19 blue-chip recruits with five-star defensive lineman David Stonetopping the list. The Oklahoma native returns to his home state after spending the past two years at IMG Academy in Florida. This is the fourth-consecutive top-10 recruiting class for the Sooners, who upgraded their talent level before transitioning to the SEC.
8. AUBURN

The first full recruiting class for Hugh Freeze at Auburn is loaded with elite talent, especially at receiver with the Tigers adding four blue-chip wideouts. Five-star receiver Cam Coleman highlights the incoming haul for Auburn as the top-ranked prospect in Alabama. The Tigers could have half of the top recruits from the state locked in for the 2024 class when the cycle concludes. Five-star wideout Ryan Williams is still available for Auburn to snag.
7. LSU

LSU climbed a few spots since the early signing period with a late commitment from five-star defensive lineman Dominick McKinley. The Tigers' massive class totals just shy of 30 newcomers — not including transfers. The haul is littered with potential early-impact additions with top-ranked tight end Trey'Dez Green among those en route to Baton Rouge. Brian Kelly has back-to-back top-10 recruiting classes at LSU.
6. OREGON

Oregon made upgrades across the board in the 2024 recruiting class with six top-100 signees. The Ducks were able to flip four-star wideout Jeremiah McClellan away from Ohio State during the December signing period. Edge rusher Elijah Rushing anddefensive linemanAydin Breland are immediate-impact recruits on the front as Oregon makes the move to the Big Tenthis upcoming season. The Ducks could be a force in the new league if Dan Lanning and the rest of the staff continue to recruit at a high level.
5. TEXAS

Not only does Texas have a top-10 high school recruiting class, it also continues to add to its transfer haul, which ranks among the top-10 nationally, too. Coming off their first trip to the College Football Playoff, the Longhorns are loading up on elite talent in preparation for a transition to the SEC in 2024. There are four five-star signees locked into the class for Texas with top-ranked edge rusherColin Simmons remaining in the Lone Star State to play his college ball.
4. MIAMI

Miami endured some late recruiting battles with its Sunshine State rivals during the December signing period, but Mario Cristobal edged out enough victories to put the Hurricanes in position for a top-five class in 2024. A pair of five-star defensive lineman were among the flips in favor of Miami as Justin Scott and Armondo Blount prepare to join the Hurricanes next season. The classsits atop the ACC.
3. OHIO STATE

No program signed more five-stars in the 2024 recruiting class than Ohio State— and that does not include five-star quarterback Julian Sayin, who technically counts as a transfer after previously enrolling at Alabama. Wide receiver Jeremiah Smith, the top-ranked prospect regardless of position, is on his way to Columbus to join the Buckeyes. Ohio State alsolanded a pair of five-stars on the defensive side in edge rusher Eddrick Houston and cornerback Aaron Scott.
2. ALABAMA

The 2024 recruiting class for Alabama is slightly inflated since five-star quarterback Julian Sayin and four-star cornerback Jameer Grimsley technically count toward the haul as signees, despite subsequently transferring out after the retirement of Nick Saban. Still, the Crimson Tide would have a top-three signing class with new head coach Kalen DeBoer holding much of it together up to this point. The spring transfer window could bring more departures, though.
1. GEORGIA

Nobody is catching Georgia as the top-ranked recruiting class in 2024. With 24 blue-chip signees, Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs locked in their first No. 1 haul since the 2020 cycle. Georgia signed the top cornerback, linebacker and safety in the class after Bolden made a late flip to the Bulldogs back in December. Even with the decommitment of Raiola just days before the early signing period, Georgia still managed to comfortably secure the highest-rated class in 2024.
